:topic: Workflow Parameters .. index:: pair: DREAM3D-NX; Workflow Parameters :name: Workflow Parameters .. ........................................................................... ################################## Workflow Parameters ################################## **In this section we will be introducing the concept of a Workflow.** **A workflow allows you to dictate which parameters in a Pipeline are editable** by hiding all other parameters leaving their values set to whatever the workflow creator has set. A workflow is similar to a *Pipeline*, but has only a select number of parameters available for editing. This can be useful when creating a *Pipeline* for use by others, because often times users may not want certain parameters to be edited. There are two different views for working with Workflows: - **View for creating a Workflow**: This is the base view of *DREAM3D-NX* with the addition of the *Workflow Parameters* feature which is used to determine which parameters will be exposed to the end user of the *Workflow*. - **View for running from a Workflow file**: In this case, the user will get a slightly altered view of *DREAM3D-NX* in which **only** the *Workflow Parameters* will be displayed for editing. .. ........................................................................... .. toctree:: :caption: List of Workflow Parameters Sections :maxdepth: 2 :titlesonly: WorkflowParameters/CreateWorkflow.rst WorkflowParameters/UseWorkflow.rst ..
