This is the 7.0.0 Release Candidate 14. Below are listed the many bug fixes and updates that have gone into this release.

  • Synthetic Building Filters are not yet implemented
  • Long visualization operations can lock up the GUI. Please be patient for those operations to end.

What's New in DREAM3D-NX

Key updates

  • Improved CSV Reader UI

    Improved CSV Reader UI

    The Read CSV File parameter can now seamlessly reload a changed .csv file from the file system. Before this would cause problems for the parameter but now the user can tell DREAM3D-NX to watch the file for changes and automatically reload those changes.

  • Visualization Hints

    Visualization Hints

    Added text to the visualization tree view to aid the user by giving hints as to how to visualize their data.

  • EBSD Library Updates

    EbsdLib Fixes

    • Add Exemplar Legends and Data files.
    • Fix tiff writing bugs (out of order tiff tags)
    • Fix bug where the X, Y and Z Coordinates were not read from the H5Ebsd File
    • Fix bug in the monoclinic symmetry operators
