3.10. Pinned Parameters View

Pinned Parameters

The Pinned Parameters View allows the ability to store parameters that may need to be referenced in Filters further down the pipeline. This feature exists primarily for ease of use.

One possible use case is allowing users to reference parameters from a Filter before or after the current active Filter in the Pipeline in order to select values for dependent parameters without having to click back and forth between multiple Filters.

Cropping A Geometry With Pinned Parameters

Another use case for pinned parameters is when trying to figure out where to crop a dataset that is being actively visualized in the Visualization section. It’s possible to pin the relevant cropping parameter(s) (in this case, Min Voxel and Max Voxel) and then update them while still viewing the visualized dataset.
